Keg draught at the Way Station, Thrapston. Black, or very dark brown anyway,with almost no head. Aroma of sweet perfumed coconut, vanilla. Taste is more complex: it has the intense sweetness but it's drawn back by the competition of almost burnt malt. Toast, treacle. Small sips bring out the subtleties. Thick oily body with little carbonation. Not one of their best but still a very good stout.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Colin. An oily dark nutty brown black coloured pour with a fine halo of tan head. Aroma is big sweet, hazelnut praline, oily coconut , bounty bar, some strawberry jam. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, nutty brown malts, brown sugars, oily coconut Palate is medium sweet, oily, fine carbonation. Bit too sweet.

Can at home, from HOTM online - too much gush and lively carbs = no great start here!, 31/03/21. Black with a decent tan cap once it eventually subsided. Nose is chocolate praline, nutty, coconut shavings, sweet malts. Taste comprises chocolate, brown sugar melt, molasses, coconut fudge. Medium bodied with bite, carbonation actually ok - fine and lightly massaging, not the shit show the pour suggested. Decent enough impy affair but let down a touch by the initial gush factor.

5/3/2021. Can from The Artichoke, Norwich. Pours very dark brown with a small tan coloured head. Aroma is sweet, coconut, biscuit, milk chocolate, toffee, vanilla. Medium plus sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium to full body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Lovely sweet coconut biscuit finish. Enjoyed this.

Can. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and light palate, very light for the abv. Decent fine carbonation. A nice light savoury vibe here which serves a dual purpose of keeping the natural sweetness in check and enhancing the light chocolate. Smooth light chocolate malts, about 65% milk to 35% dark chocolate. Chocolate cake and chocolate fudge. Lovely light coconut, that macaroon sweetness is nailed here, very mellow undertone of almond. Smooth soft finish. A complete pastry delight. Stupidly drinkable.
