50cl swing top bottle. murky orange color short white head, canteen and fruity smells on the nose. flavor is weird, very musty with wet grains, cereals, wet bread, potatoes, a kind of woody and earthy tone backed with almost rotten fruits. Yeasty and earthy, hints of citrus and herbs... alcohol stands out. Yeasty doughy finish, average carbontion, slick texture. Very funky one, an ancient style probably not refined indeed. Not the regular pint, ok for what it is.

0.5 l bottle from 'Bierothek', best before November 2021. Hazy, amber with a medium large, dense, stable, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy aroma of grains, some banana, light honey and a touch of clove. Gently sweet, malty, slightly yeasty-spicy taste of grains, honey, banana and some clove, followed by a short, slightly bitter, gently yeasty-spicy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Interesting beer, very pleasant mouthfeel and nicely yeasty, hard to believe that there is no wheat malt used in it.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Weizen-like sweet-ish malty and yeasty, fruity aroma, hints of banana, banana bread, a touch of apple, some bready malty aspects as well. Taste is sweet-ish and minimally tart-ish malty, slightly yeasty fruity, minimally yeasty spicy, hints of banana, a touch of unripe apple, some clove, some bready, spicy maltiness; carbonation-induced mineral finish. Slightly creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft carbonation. Well balanced, quite similar to, but not as banana dominated as a regular Weizen, nice spicy aspects - quite interesting.

0,5 l swing top bottle from my local Hol´ Ab! market. Cloudy orange golden in the glass, with a nearly two finger white frothy head. Banana, wheat and yeast in the nose. Taste starts with dry orange, some banana, malt. Clove and sulfur ind the background. Some sugar sweetness. Surprising low carbonated.
