330ml can from Beer52 subscription box. Pours near black, small tanned head which settles to circular retention with an island in the middle shaped like Africa. Aroma of roasted and sweet malts, chocolate, caramel and salt comes through. Taste is chocolate, touch of caramel, a growing roastiness towards the finish, slightly dry with a hint of ash at the end. Not quite salted caramel. Its quite light bodied but it is 4.5%. Quite nice.

Near-opaque stout with a good off white head. Distinct salty sweet aroma. Flavour is malty, salted caramel, a dash of chocolate. Might be a little OTT on the salt but it's decent especially at the strength. Rich and tasty and pretty drinkable.

440ml can. Poured almost black with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, fudge, toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smooth, roasty, toffee fudge, slightly watery, liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. The aroma was great but it didn’t really live up to the initial promise.

440ml can: BB 21st June 2022. Drank at home on 28th November 2021. Deep, dark brown body, beige head. Caramel esters and flavours dominate this pretty sweet Stout, being 'salted' does take the edge off the sweetness and it's not 'sickly' or overly sweet. I liked it. Almost slick texture wise.

[33cl can from Beer52's Yorkshire box.] An opaque peaty brown pour with cherry glint against the light and a fast fading beige head; aroma of salt and chocolate; salt caramel taste with dry, roasted malt body; and a gentle bitterness before a chocolatey finish. Rather good.
