Somewhere: Pours an amber colour with a quickly dissipating head. Aroma is malty and metallic. Taste is somewhat metallic (and this is out of a bottle, so I can’t blame a can). Mostly just slightly sweet malts. Very little hop character is present in this beer. Nothing great, but something easily chuggable I suppose.

12oz formally capped conveyance pours copper with a bit of haze and weak white head. The aroma emits sweet lageriness, some fruity esters and a touch of yeasty spices. The taste starts with apple like sweetness and then picking up notes of winter spices and then yeasty spices. Lingering lageriness heads this into the after taste.

Barley malt aroma, very shitty. Hazy amber, medium head. Light body. Flavor is copper with only hints of barley malt. Immensely metallic. The most metallic beer I’ve ever had. Suck on a penny and you get the idea.

Location: 12 oz bottle from King Farm Wine, 8/11/09

Aroma: Lots of malt here, yeasty, some wheat, a bit of citrus, caramel
Appearance: Amber-yellowish color, good amount of head that dissipates quickly
Flavor: Sweet and malty, toasty, light spice, pretty typical of the Octoberfest style, similar to the nose
Palate: Light to medium in body (leaning light), a bit thin
Overall Impression: Hey, it’s my first Octoberfest of 2009! It’s a good sign for beer, but not such a good sign for the weather... This beer was alright, not bad, not great. Overall, pretty average.

**Just submitted a Photo for this one as well, as it was missing one.

Deep hazy golden coloured body with orange highlights and a nice fluffy white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, curacao and coriander seed - very nice! Full-bodied; Sweet orange & citrus tastes dominate the mouthful. Aftertaste shows some light spiciness and also some good yeast qualities. Overall, a very good wheat - definitely worth trying! I sampled this beer on draught as a sampler at the Shirlington Oktoberfest in Arlington, Virginia on 07 October 2006.
