De brouwer wilde eens de moeder aller tripels achterdoen. De 1e lezing zat er toch redelijk ver naast, maar het is wel een lekker en straf bierke. Voorlopig enkel te proeven in het proeflokaal.

4/IV/24 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ Barjac (FR), BB: III/2023, lot A (2024-203)

A little cloudy beige blond beer, big solid creamy dense off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, a bit spicy, herbal, some banana, yeasty, fruity touch, ok . MF: ok carbon, medium body. TAste: spicy start, a bit sweet, pretty bitter, little yeasty, minty. Aftertaste: herbal touch, a bit sugary, alcohol, very yeasty, soapy bitterness, minty finish.

Bottle from Geers.
A: hazy golden, small, frothy, off-white head.
A: pear, ripe mandarin, honey, coriander, jenever.
T: sweet pear, mandarin, biscuit, grain, spicy phenols.
F: grassy & floral hops, ripe fruit, spices, boozy vodka-like alcohol.
P: medium body, oily texture, average carbonation.
Bit too crude, could have been okay otherwise.
