Dit bier is ontstaan in samenwerking met onze goede vriend des huizes en stand-up comedian Philippe Geubels. Daar hij zijn humor graag droog heeft maar zijn bier iets minder, vroeg hij om eens iets minder bitter te maken : 'Iets gelak nen tripel'. We dachten hierbij dan ook aan een tripel, mits dat redelijk gelijk een tripel is. Bij deze stellen we u dan ook gaarne onze en zijn 'Zieke Geest' voor. het is een tripel geworden of toch iets gelijkaardig.

(Bottle, 0.33l - BB 17.08.2024, at Tuulensuu, 20241230) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey, fruitiness, grass and spicy yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, honey, spicy yeast, floralness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, spicy and bitter. A nice spicy brew with sweet notes. The ABV was well hidden. Carbonation level could have been higher.

Flesje gedeeld door Keukenman, gedronken met Benzai, Tomhendriksen en Roelzie. Troebel goudgeel bier met matig schuim. Aroma is licht kruidig. De smaak is zoet en fris zuur. Nasmaak is licht bitter.

Fles gedeeld door Roelzie, geprobeerd met Inoven, Benzai en Keukeman. Het is een troebel goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een gist achtige geur. De smaak is vol kruidig met een licht zoetje.

Bottle, 8%. Yeasty aroma with notes of white bread. Cloudy orange colour. The flavour has some white bread. Mild cookie spices. Good alcohol presence. Ripe orange, dried apricot finish. Low to medium bitterness.

Clear orange to copper blond beer, big creamy off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, lots of oranges, mango, a bit malty, yeasty, some banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty, oxidized, grains, pretty bitter, oranges, yeasty. Aftertaste: nice, good bitterness, orange peel, malty, a bit sweet.

Dark yellow colour with intense carbonation and massive foaming head. Nicely balanced Tripel. Malt sweetness but not sugary. Also not overly spicy.
