33 cl can. Dark brown, close to black in color, very dark brown foam. Aroma: bourbon, vanilla, an old oak barrel, a little dill, chocolate, caramel, a little port, sweet, expectedly good. Taste: dense, sweet, caramel, dark chocolate with sweet vanilla and bourbon, prunes in bourbon, chocolate biscuit, oak, licorice, pleasant bitter finish, very warming. Very good.

33cl Blik, dank Harmen! Zwart, beige kraag. Zoet, geroosterde mout, gebrand, bourbon, booze, vanille, chocolade, lekker. 1 van de betere Barrel Projects van Kees van de laatste tijd.

Black with quick fading head. Aroma has dark roasted malts and wood. Flavour has dark bittersweet malts and vanilla. Quite boozy but has quite a decent balance. Aftertaste is predominantly bourbon.

Canned, 330 ml shared with Miro B, Max and Simon. Black with brownish head. Roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, bourbon, wood, sweet. Medium sweetness. Some bitterness in finish. Bit thin for the abv. Medium bodied.

Can. Dark brown pour. Aroma of sweet bourbon vanilla, coconut, caramel fudge, chocolate, raisin, sweet cherry and booze. Taste has rich bourbon vanilla, caramel fudge, coconut, sweet cherry, chocolate, raisin, figs, dates and a boozy bourbony finish. The buffalo trace shines and I love it.

0.33 l can from 'Drinks & Gifts', best before October 2025. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty and a little boozy aroma of dark chocolate, licorice, coffee, hazelnut and a touch of bourbon. Rather sweet, malty, gently roasty-bitter taste of dark chocolate, licorice, hazelnut, coffee, some bourbon and vanilla, followed by a long, gently roasty-bitter, a little earthy and a bit boozy, almost burning finish. Full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid BA ware from Kees, not very deep and a bit too boozy. Still tasty, but feels quite young. Might be worth aging.

Dark ruby-brown pour with a thin tan head. Toffee, bourbon, vanilla, oak. A bit boozy but overall quite enjoyable.

Can. Black. Coconut, chocolate and vanilla in the aroma and flavor. Sweet, alcohol, whisky, caramel. Full bodied. Good one!
