Packed to the brim with punchy US hops and serving attitude by the can, this hard-hitting American IPA is a force to be reckoned with. Expect a double dose of strong, citrusy flavours, mixed with a malt sweetness and bitter finish.

Dikke hopsmaak, nog wat moutig, dennenhars, bitter. Vrijwel foutloos.

330ml can as part of a delivery from the Blue Boar, Leicester. This was a surprise substitution, and I'm fond of Vocation so I am not complaining. Light yellow/gold, slightly thin-looking and hazy with a tiny ring of white head. Smells of big boozy pineapple juice with touches of citrus peel and vanilla. Sweet taste, still very boozy with lots more pineapple, fading to a slightly more bitter finish. It's not a subtle beer by any stretch but it's very nice.

Can at home. Hazy light orange color, small white head that diminishes quickly. Aroma has some fine classic hoppiness mixed with a light tropical note and light resinous notes. Flavor is malts, way more in the direction of resinous hops, malt and hop bitterness in the finish. Medium to full body, decent to medium carbonation. Quite good.

Can. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry palate, good fine minerally crispness. Thin malts, sweet enough. A good hop spice bite here. Minerally crisp citric peel, but quite a tang here. Touch of ripe lemon in the minerally crisp finish. All right but a bit on the minerally tangy side.

Can from Eltham Wines. Cloudy blood orange pour with a white head. Sweet citrus, peach, tropical fruit aromas. Taste is orange marmalade, pink grapefruit, tangerine, peach. Sackloads of bitter hops in the finish.
