The sixth one of 22 beers for our 12th wedding anniversary. White Ašát's.
Bottle 0.75l. Cloudy, copper colored. AROMA- red wine, dark grapes, strawberry, honey, plum, sweet jam, berries, touch of brandy. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, light to medium sourness, tart finish, the same as aroma, sour cherry, red and black currant, blackberry, blueberry... Full, syrupy body.
Simply great.

Hazy rusty brown colour with no head. Aroma is woody and slightly vinegary. Interesting mix of intensely full bodied malt base with sharp vinous acidity. Not too harsh though.

On tap at BrewDog Roppongi, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of Worcestershire sauce, plenty of oak, and a touch of red fruits. Flavour is very tart and nicely vinegary, with lot's of Worcestershire sauce, wood, oak, and acetic notes galore. A bit too acetic even for BFM, but has nice depth. Good stuff.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Copper colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is toasted malts, some tartness, mild fruity and floral tones. Flavour is tart, dried fruits, mild toasted and rye tones with some acidity and some quite strong nutty elements too.
