330 ml bottle, from Super Cor, La Manga. Pure malt beer, ABV is 6.4%. Deep golden to brown colour, moderate white head. Aroma of herbal hops, malts (including some caramel malts) and cloves. The flavour is fairly malty with a hint of caramel, herbal hops in the finish. Not bad for Spain.

Re-rate from bottle. Honey, light blueberry and caramel aroma. Dark golden, offwhite low head Chewy, sparkly medium body Good balance between biscuity malt, berry notes and a broad bitte and aromatic hop flavor. Grassy finish. Maybe not super exiting, but solid. Old rating 31.8.2011 5 3 6 3 9 Bottle. Golden, offwhite head. Spicy yeast aroma. Peppery, corianderseed spicyness, light phenolic. Medium to light body. Quick spicy finish.

330 ml bottle. The bottle looks nice but the content does not live up to expectations. Clear, dark golden body with a fast disappearing off-white head. Aroma of malt, some burnt caramel and hint of alcohol. Flavor is malty with a sharp bitterness, some caramel and alcohol. This is actually a quite nice, malty and decent beer, but there is to much alcohol in the flavor.

Bottled, from Madrid. Clear deep golden, small head. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied. Dusty and fruity, low bitterness. A pointless strong lager with not many likable features and poor drinkability.

Bottled. Orangeish golden colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild fruits, wood, grass and some sweet maltyness. Flavour is quite much the same along with hay and grass. Alcohol gives the flavour a quite strong sweetish sting.

Bottle from Eroski supermarket, Gernika, Basque country, Northern Spain 28.06.11 consumed outside Frank (Camper) at Logrono campsite, La Rioja, Northern Spain 01.07.11 Pours warm gold with a busy carbonation and a white head. This is a maltier lager but still with a distinctive metallic edge and some minerally flavours. Malty in the mouth the strength is there but its not too pushy, bit sweet, but for a strong lager I don’t mind this at all. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

Bottle bought at El Corte Ingles food dept in Fuengirola, Spain. Sweet, malty aroma. Tastes sweet, malty, orange, caramel. This was the best Spanish beer that I tried on my recent holiday. Quite acceptable for Spain.
