Batch #1, bottled 23 JUL 2020. Gorgeous dark red, near flat. Smell is lightly balsamic, earthy, umami. Body is virtually flat, pretty thick for the abv. Little bit of sourness, definitely getting some umami. No identifiable fungi, or clear identity.

A little cloudy deep brown beer, creamy dense off-white head, stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very sour, vinegar notes, earthy, flemish Oud Bruin. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: earthy, pretty acidic, fruity, sour apples, juicy, dry, spicy. Aftertaste: bitter, dry, apples, some apple skin, earthy, dry, ok, no mushroom (zwam) though?

Unclear brown with white offwhite head. Sour rye and coffee berry notes, rotten oak rainbarrel, damp shroomy funk. Lovely stuff. Light sour and moderate bitter. Very recognizable Nevel base going on with well working twist.

Fairly hazy brown with a bubbly off white head. Aroma of funk, cellar, oak, softened red berries, damp woody notes, mushrooms showing indirectly. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter with light sourness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Bit hazy dark brown with beige head. Cassis, soft earthy malts, funky, red currants, a hint of mushrooms I guess but maybe it's the name, oak. Under medium sour, sweer and bitter. Medium bodied. Nice, again.
