ABV: (11.0)%. Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, coffee, dark malt, sweet malt, barrel - vanilla, wood. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, coffee, dark malt, chocolate, barrel - vanilla - bourbon, wood. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210427]

Bottle split at the 'Should've been at Pig's Ear Tasting', picked up from Beerdome, 04/12/20. Pitch black with a good sized dirty tan covering ... a real looker of a beer. Nose is coffee bean, light spice, muscovado sugars, dried fruits, toffee fudge, chocolate melt. Taste comprises coffee grinds, cacao nibs, spice, sweet malts, chocolate dipped raisins, brown sugar melt. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Top draw unctuous stuff.

Sample thanks to Cloin: Poured a dark black with a brown head. Aroma is rich chocolate, boozy, coffee, vanilla, roast malts. Taste is molasses, rich coffee bean, chocolate, roasted malts, molasses. So fucking good!

Bottle shared. Black with a ring beige head. Aroma of massive coffee, rich chocolate brownies, oak, bourbon and vanilla. Flavour is heavy sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle massive thanks to Kenny. It pours rich oily black with a tan cap. The aroma is rich and intense, dark roasted malt, toasty, earthy, big coffee character, coffee cake, bourbon, dull vanilla, bourbon biscuits and oiliness. The taste is dry, some bitterness, rich roasted malt, umami, quite intense, dark roast, espresso coffee, slick, oily, coffee cake, nutty, woody, bitter - sweet, dull vanilla oak, warming spice, charred wood, some booze and earth with a drying, roasted finish. Full body, fine carbonation and slick, toothy mouth-feel. Great stuff as the others in the series, but I almost feel it's a touch earthy and savoury go come out on too. Fun anyhow.

Bottle@Peders Cycle Cuvee Event, Copenhagen (07/11/2020) - black with a tan head. 6/6 Chocolate with some prominent coffee roast, sweet malty caramel and fudge, silky smooth mouthfeel and full bodied, bourbon and coffee roast combine into the dark malty finish.
