Bottle from Saintsbury’s, consumed at home. Light gold, pretty much clear. Big white head but ir settles fairly quickly. Gentle orange and apricot aroma. Tastes bitter with a soft citrus sweetness, turning to a more emphatic bitter to the long luicy hoppy finish. Strong tropical fruit on the aftertaste. Carbonation is aggressive. It’s a good beer if fairly muted for an IPA. Easy drinking, it hangs together very nicely, hence the fairly high rate.

500ml bottle from The Bottle Bank. Clear golden colour with a one finger white head and good retention, lacing. Aroma of American hops, grapefruit, malt, citrus, pine. Lovely hoppy flavour with a good amount of malt too, well balanced, sweet and bitter, citrus, lemon. Moderate carbonation, nice mouthfeel, little bit sweeter than other IPAs but I like it. A decent IPA.

500ml bottle. Clear, orangey, pale golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney and minimally citrusy, hoppy aroma, hints of lemon, lemon biscuit, a minimally sulphuric touch. Taste is biscuity malty, minimally grainy, cautious citrusy hoppy overtones, hints of lemon, a strawy touch. So so.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Stable, fair white head to a near-clear dark golden body. Spotty lacing to the glass. Fresh citrus, bread, and leafy hops on the nose. Lemon, leafy hops, pine, and earthy malts to the taste buds, lightly spiced. Bitter dry-hopped ending. Medium bodied. Soft on the swallow. Pleasing and wok food friendly (Tromsø 09.08.2015).

From bottle on board Fridtjofen 17.07.15. Clear, pale orange. Foamy off-white head and lacing. Persisten lacing, but diminishing head. Moderate aroma, with some citrus and tropical fruits. Similar taste, with slightly unfresh citrusy bitterness. Decent drinkability, but there’s something about it that is not entirely positive. Earth, metal, sulphur?
