Ha, a friend brought one over as a joke, and he figured i could get a rating out of it. Same ol’ grainy, corny nose. Cooked vegetal flavour, some slight hops..........meh, sale old labatt. I guess for a non-alcoholic beer it aint bad, but seriously.........its just a blue without the booze. gets a .5 to match the alcohol content!

341Bottle labelled Labatt Blue 0.5%, found at a local grocer. Corn and tin in the nose, pours like soda pop. Flavour is watery sweet corn, some soft wet bread. Lingering corn syrup. Did I mention the corn? Corn. Corn water.

Also known here is Quebec as Labatt Bleue Pilsener Désalcoolisée. Both a 6-pack of this for a party and it was actually not bad from the can. Now the real test, poured in a glass. Decent foamy white head that has good retention and lots of lacing. The beer itself is pale golden with lots of big bubbles stuck to the glass. Very mild malt nose with notes of chemical hops. Same of the taste... a little grainy with hints of honey, but overall, quite mild. So, a decent no-alcohol brew for those times when you want to drink all night and drive home whenever.

Canette 355ml. Nez de grains de malt pâle aux faibles notes végétales sûres, légèrement métallique avec des notes de maïs sucré et des traces herbeuses. De couleur jaune pâle et transparente. Très mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-fort et croustillant ainsi qu’une texture aqueuse. Très léger goût de grains de malt pâle avec des traces végétales (légumes bouillis) lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un léger goût sucré de maïs ainsi que des notes herbeuses en toute fin de gorgée accompagné de notes métalliques. Post-goût presque inexsistant, aux faibles notes métalliques.

My conquest of NA beers continues. Good stuff, surprisingly. Good off-yellow color and a small fizzy white head. Carbonation was not bad at all and there is an actual flavor. It's like a regular blue but sweeter and with less stale hops flavor. No metallic flavors, not harsh. Pretty good. . .for an NA beer.

Pale straw colour; worty aroma; very watery with minerals and wort dominating the flavour. Yee-haw.
