Keg@ Fermentoren, Copenhagen. Pours a hazy golden orange colour with a small white head. Fruity hoppy malt character with this, nice hoppy grassy notes here, nice bitter finish. Pretty decent overall.

Draught. Cloudy, golden-orange colour with a frothy, off-white head, good lacework. Fruity aroma with caramel and bread malts, grasses, grapefruit and citrus hops. Taste is bitter. Medium body, lively carbonated. Finishes long lasting bitter with a fruity note. Well made however, the bitterness gets too one-dimensional at the bottom of the glass.

Fra fat på Fermentoren: etter to forskjellige imp.stouts på Mikkeller var dette akkurat hva ganen trengte. Fruktig, frisk og akkurat bitter nok til at smagsløjene fikk den tiltrengte overhaling. Passe karbonert til oppgaven.

(Draught at Fermentoren, Copenhagen, 25 Jan 2013) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of grass, citrus and bread. Fruity, malty taste with grass, citrus and a generous citric bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Very tasty and refreshing, with a fresh hop character. Very nice.

Tap @ Ølbaren. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are nice bitter hops, flowers, malt, grain, pine and citrus.notes.

Cloudy light amber color, with generous creamy head. The aroma is initially fresh and hoppy, although it fades away a bit. The dryness of the mouthfeel, and some crispy touch to the malt are very appreciated; the heavy hopping provides a nice initial punch, resiny, but also a harsh final, disturbing the senses.

Draught at The Rover, Göteborg, on November 3, 2012.Cloudy orange color, creamy off-white head. Very pretty head, not so pretty color and a bit too cloudy. Citrus, hoppy scent, there’s a hint of sweetness as well. Bitter, grapefruit, citrus, hoppy taste. Lingering bitter grapefruit juice aftertaste. Spritzy mouthfeel, very high bitterness.

On tap. Hazy orangey golden with a white head leaving laces. Hoppy aroma but not particularly Simcoe super crispy fresh. A yeasty touch as well. Medium body, sweetish malty, distinctly bitter but completely lacking the aromatic qualities usually associated with Simcoe. 261012

Draught.Unclear light to medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, orange - citrus, mandarin. Initial flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter, finish flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy with a long duration, mandarin, orange, peel bitter, dry, close to metalic. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120907]
