16 oz. can. Black, with a big, rocky, brown head. The nose is cappuccino, toasted oak, nutmeg, maple syrup, and brandy. Sweet and malty, with a mild, roasty bitterness. Heavy body, syrupy, and thick. Beautiful, focused, and remarkably balanced.

Tall boy can from a brewery I have no record with. Time to pass judgement. I open and tilt inside of a snifter, dark mocha brown body with a limited top of taupe foam that goes away quickly. I smell mostly coffee with some chocolate. The taste is tolerable but not really setting the world on fire. Coffee in abundance, a bit of woodiness, chocolate, hard candy, hops and grain. Less dense than I like in an imperial stout. I'm just not getting what the brewer wanted, it appears.

16 oz can shared by tfontana. Thanks Tom. Aroma shows rich espresso beans and chocolate. Flavor follows the aroma. Good chocolate and coffee elements. Decent mouthfeel and texture. But can’t find any maple. It is ok.

Can (3/3/23) pour from The Beer Store, Salem. It's an opaque dark brown with ring of beige head and trace lacing. Aroma is bittersweet coffee, background malt. Taste is bittersweet coffee, wood. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Nice coffee without being overbearing. If maple is there, it's really faint.

Can sourced from Beerdome and drunk at home (30/07/2021) - pours black with a beige head. Dark sweet and medium roasted malty with notes of coffee roast, some cocoa, sweet maple, brown sugar, full body, sweet lingering malty finish. Nice.

Can picked up from Beerdome webshop, Grootegast, Netherlands and consumed at home Sunday 21st February 2021 watching to News of the World on Netflix, we had Mountain Meatballs for tea. Pours hazy, black with a light beige head, aroma giving off some light coffee. In the mouth it has rather too much lactose for me, but nice mouthfeel, coffee, chocolate and milkiness are key here. Good but perhaps not as good as I'd hoped.
