Can at Home. Grapefruit, harsh hoppy, high carbonation, fairly dry and bitter. So-so. Purchased at Consumer's Beverages

Super crisp and clear golden coloured body with a very large and billowy off-white and creamy head, about five to six centimetres tall, that says afloat for a long time. Aroma of grass, grapefruit, flowers, citrus, hay and a lot of fresh and dry wheat on the tail end, with some alcohol noticeable as well. Light-bodied; Sharp, very dry malt and wheat notes with a lot of citrus, grapefruit and floral notes, with no residual sweetness at all, just the dry and crisp notes with only a tiny bit of malt for support. Aftertaste is crisp, intensely dry, but also showing a lot of floral notes and some good bitterness, but not a whole lot of wheat, coriander seed, yeast or pure hop flavours - this is more about the proper (I'm not from Boston) Grapefruit and citrus flavours runing rampant with no sweetness or malt balanced either. Overall, this is still nice to try, but almost feels like a Saison or a Biere de Garde as opposed to any wheat beer or any style IPAs! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Joe Canal's in Lawrenceville, New Jersey on 06-January-2020 for US$5,29 sampled at my house here in Washington on 24-April-2020.

4 oz. draft at the brewery. Slight hazy pale yellow color. Aroma is almost exclusively fresh squeeze pink grapefruit juice. The flavor has a mild bitterness with a slightly tart pink grapefruit. Lingering tart and bitter finish. Good balance but a lot of juice.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a nice soft pale burnt yellow chalky color with a two finger white frothy head that fell off at a fairly quick pace. Some messy lace.
The aroma had some ruby red grapefruit pulpy sweetness and it’s rind in a bitter fashion rolling over some light acceptable sugary notes over a sly little wheaty bite at the end.
The flavor wants to lean towards the sweet side but an ample amount of bitterness from the grapefruit rind pushes the brink to end up blending better than I think. Nice controlled aftertaste with a brisk bittersweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good and the ABV felt perfectly fine. Some harshness, but the wheat seemed to control that a little bit.
Overall, nicely done wheat IPA with that grapefruit in this one really made it all come together extremely nice. Hope you like this one, Corey!

A hazed golden ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, loads of pink grapefruit over biscuit malt, resinous floral hops, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of pink grapefruit pulp, resinous and piney hops, light mineral notes, nice and smooth. On tap at brewery.
