Can at Home Plasticine, phenolic, quite bitter, lacking malty backbone and sweetness to compensate. Really quite poor. Purchased at Premier Gourmet

Can from the Packie Pours a somewhat hazy deep yellow in color with a moderate sized bubbly white head that shows good retention. Dripping with tangerine, pineapple and tropical notes with a bit of sweet bread to counter. Light earth and pine come through a bit in the flavor as well as a bit of caramel. Smells like new money tastes a bit old school. Pretty decent.

16 oz can from Tavour. Normal NEIPA pour, but this looks really good backlit by the late afternoon sun. Citrusy aroma, grapefruit peel. Taste brings more juice, of the citric a id kind, grapefruit and pineapple , with some tropical notes thrown in for good measure. Medium weight, but quite a lingering hops blast.

Draught @ Sugarburg (1/21/20). Extremely hazy dark yellow-orange with foamy off-white head, faint peach-mango aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter peach-pineapple-unripe mango taste, somewhat thick body, long medium bitter finish. Good NEIPA.

Can drunk 8/11/18.
Moderately hazy, bright orange-cantaloupe. Small, off-white head atop shows low retention.
Heavy bubble gum, tangerine juice, melon, mango and light lime rise up initially and it's extremely fruity and very prototypical NE IPA. Cracker-heavy malts behind lead to light notes of honey. No alcohol noted, but there is some twang to it as it warms and breathes, in the form of heavy, resin-laced papaya, punchy pineapple and light pine.
In the mouth it's soft and fruity with comforting malts up front quickly drying and growing heavily crackery with biscuit textures, as well. Juicy tangerine, lemon and mango is a bit short-lived, as strong grapefruit, unripe pineapple, lime and, eventually, pine seem to butt-in. Definitely some good and bad here and even if you take it as a hybrid, it's still too twangy and resinous on the finish. Engaging carbonation and no alcohol or flaw noted.
