Bottle from Morrisons Hatch End. An amber coloured pour with a smallish head. Caramel flavours, fruity, malty and a hint of hops. Alcohol very well hidden. A surprisingly tasty ale, very drinkable indeed.

Bottle, picked up at Morrisons, Banbury, 20-04-07. Pours a deep chesnut colour with small head. good fresh and fruity, malty aroma. taste was really decent with good chewy maltiness and fruity flavour, some sweetness but very well balanced, strength was well disguised, a very good beer.

A clear chestnut colour with an off-white head quickly reducing to a ring; aroma of fruit and hops; full and chewy in the mouth with a jammy, fruity, malty taste; and a light bitterness to follow.

Bottle. Very frothy head, reddish brown body, overall an excellant appearance. The aroma is lightlly hopped and the flavour is very acidic, malty and burn’t with a bitter finish. Overall a disappointing end product when the initial appeal of the beer is so good.

500ml bottle from Morrisons, Folkestone. I managed to get the last bottle on the shelf. Chestnutin colour with thin beige head. Good choc malts with some orange fruit on the aroma. Really nice malts. Slightly herby. Good earthy supermarket beer. Wonderful malts throughout and then drying spicy hop with good toffee. I agree with the others, this is a good ESB
