Bottle. Small beige head is soon at the rim on a dark red body. Aroma: Bourbon vies with stewed fruit, leather, strong bread. Full bodied but not syrupy. Lowish carbonation. Feels alive. Fruit, chocolate, bread, supporting Bourbon and oak. Spices and bitterness at the end. Gets the balance of strong and drinks like it and just fun to drink just right.

Shared at BBT 31/01/2022. Lots of dark malty flavours, chocolate, also lots of fruity character, berries. Medium warmth, pleasant. Very good, very tasty.

Bottle at BBT #2/2022. Malty aroma and taste, toffee, vanilla, light sourish notes, medium bitter. Full body, malty bitter finish with warming alcohol notes. Ok.

BBT 02 /2022. Dark brown color with off-white head. Dark brown color with off-white. Barrel, dark malt, raisins, coffee in aroma. Taste, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, alcohol. Good.

Dark Brown color with low beige head. Aroma: dark honey, caramel, vanilla, oak wood, dates. Taste: sweet, oaky, vanilla, dark fruits, dried figs, sweet malt. Full body, moderate carbonation, moderate bitterness. Good one.

Bottle at home from Sterk, Amsterdam, 6th February 2021. Pours a dark brown beer, limited head. Aroma has bourbon, caramel and dark fruits. Taste is smooth, well integrated bourbon, dark fruits, raisins and prune, sugary not not overly sweet. Very nice

Aus der Flasche (bottled 06.09.2018 - bbe 06.09.2028) im 2020-10 getrunken. Dieses typisch dunkelbraune, malzige Quardrupel kommt sehr ausbalanciert mit leicht bemerkbaren Hopfeneinfluss daher. Der Woodford Reserve Fassausbau kommt hier nicht so deutlich deutlich, aber hat sicherlich für die wunderbare Harmonie seinen Beitrag geleistet. Ein leckeres Bier!
