Bottle, 0.33l. Deep ruby/brown pour, minimal off-white layer on top. Little to no lacing on the glass. Really nice on the nose, liquor, caramel, chocolate. Somewhat floral. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation. Somewhat watery texture, light mouthfeel. Bittersweet taste, slightly roasty. Strong alcohol presence in the aroma, nicely warming. Caramel, toffee, cocoa. Roasted malt, woody. A touch of herbal spiciness. Mild alcohol burn on the tongue. Medium lasting finish. Overall, decent dubbel. Pretty good value for money.

Pours dark coppery brown, almost black, topped with smaller and not really lasting beige head. Gentle nose, quite yeasty with some dry fruits pretty much in teh way back, later some roastiness. Taste follows with quite yeasty-spicy start, medium bitterness and slightly spicy aftertaste with some alcohol warmth. Quite light body, almost a bit watery. Not bad, but too one-dimensional.

12 oz bottle poured at Glam Cafe, Old Town Dubrovnik. Listed at 6.7%. A dark brown, flat appearance, pours with no head. Interesting collab to run into hear. And fun to try this style here in Croatia. Always on board to try something a little different. A light feel to this Belgian. A watered down feel. A little extra from the tripel project they did, watered down to a dubbel? I'm only kidding! Some semi rich caramel malts that linger with a hint of spice. Some slight flaws here for me, but remains an interesting beer. Not bad.
