Pouring a beautiful soft cloudy pink and smelling of a tropical vacation, our Guava Gose is like a sour mashed wheat beer dosed with the largest batch of guava we could get away with. The base Gose has a balanced lemony tartness from the presence of malted wheat, Himalayan pink sea salt and coriander with a flowery bright smoothness from guava. The end result is a perfect balance of tart, sweet, and sour, leaving you refreshed and wanting more.

Can from the LCBO. Murky medium pinkish orange with a small white head that fades quickly to a sheet. Lots of tropical fruit with guava at the fore, including pineapple, mango, grapefruit, lavender, salt, wheat, light stone fruit and some yeast. Light fruit sweetness at the front with a medium+ tropical fruit tartness in the middle moving to a salty finish. Mouth is full and oily with soft carbonation. 8/3/8-/3+/15

Draft - Nice fruity guava. Murky orange yellow with a small white head. Intense and real guava notes. Brine come in light in the finish, but fruit overwhelms. If you like Guava.

16 oz. can. Aroma is sea salt, sour wheat, guava purée. Base is tart wheat with tart guava fruit in the finish. Shows a subtle salinity. Salt, acidity, and guava is a nice balance. Carbonation is correct. I liked the base so it makes sense that I like this.

Pint can sent by CA for review. Pours another fluffy head, while the body of the beer is an even more hazy yellow. Smell has the tart zestiness, but there is an additional nose of tropical fruit. Some bits of fruit pulp cling to the sides of the glass. The taste is mild on the usual spice and sodium of a gose, subsumed by the tang of guava. Reminds me strongly of 5 Rabbit's Guava Paletas, though that was more of a shandy beer/juice blend. Another interesting entry in current sour beer trend.
