Cask at Thomas Ingoldsby JDW, Canterbury Pale gold in colour with a slightly vegetal nose and a little bit of citric hop. Mouth feel was pretty good, but the flavours and aftertaste were not quite there. There were hints of vegetables and herbs and citric lemon, but just not enough of them. Pleasant enough to drink but needs a bit more pronounced flavour

[Cask at Jyske Øldage 2004, Kolding] A hazy orange beer with an OK but disappearing head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, but dominated by hops giving it a dry end.

Sample cask conditioned. Flowery nose. Grapefruit aroma. Light- to medium bodied. Soapy hoppiness, sparkling mouthfeel. Dry, salty bitter finish. A nice drinkable cask bitter with an American touch.
The bottled version appears less flavourful, and lacks the freshness and sparkling mouthfeel of the cask version. This rating is for the cask version.
