Bottle shared with the boys, cellared this one for two years. Jet black pour with a tan head. Nose is intense bourbon, cacao, light apple notes, vanilla, oak, nuts. Taste is also cacao-bourbon upfront, with oaky, mineral, somewhat fruity notes in the background. Big bodied with soft carbo, drinks below the ABV.

Cremiger Kakaobeginn, moderate Süße, der Alkohol bleibt meist im Hintergrund. Röstnoten, weiche Bitterkeit, relativ trockener Hintergrund. Süffig, dunkle Schokolade, Sirup. Langer, vollmundig malziger Abgang. Gut! 9/13/12/13/10/13

Bottled (from Alko Web). Black colour, small foamy beige head. Aroma is dried fruits, mild toasted tones with a bunch of very dark chocolate, some wood and a wee bit of alcohol. Flavour is dark chocolate, liquorice, alcohol and some syrupy tones, roasted and some toffeeish tones.

Pours black, nearly no, darkly tanned head. Scent is roasty, thick chocolate, milder on the Bourbon. Taste is full, very roasty, intense, thick chocolate, milder on the (clearly recognizable) vanilla. Smooth, perfectly balanced vanilla, idealy in between bitter and sweet. Impressive, and hides the ABV very well.

ABV: 15.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a small, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, bourbon, rich, barrel, cocoa - chocolate, vanilla - bourbon - barrel. Flavor is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, bourbon, rich, thick, barrel, cocoa - chocolate, vanilla - bourbon - barrel, smooth, balanced. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy - smooth, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20220410]

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, small dark brown head. Rich aroma of bourbon and chocolate. Hard toasted bread, licorice and sweet coffee. Lots of vanillaish bourbon. Intense warming finish. Very intense - pleasant flavours, but not at all complex.

A black beer, a head is medium and brown. Aroma has salt liquorice, balanced roastiness, richness of malts, vanilla, barrel, bourbon. Taste has smooth maltyness, liquorice, bourbon, light barrel. Quite sweet. Full bodied, sligth stickyness. Very powerful beer, nice balance and barreling. Very tasteful.
