Gravity cask at the Duke of Wellington, London on 30 July 2010.Reddish with pale grey foam head quick to dissipate and loath to lace. Sweet aroma, caramel malts in the main taste with any hoppiness fairly well hidden and late to develop. Mild, bitter sweet aftertaste and a textured mouthfeel from light carbonation. I found the flavour and appearance somewhat disappointing.

Cask. Pours orangey brown with a slight haze and a creamy off-white head. Very discreet aroma - a little nuts perhaps. Very thin and watery, lightly roasted malt accents, a little nuts and perhaps also a little burned caramel and licorice. Hardly any bitterness. Most likely the thinnest Porter in the world. 180110

Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival 6th and 7th Feb 2009 Pours dark brown with off white head. Aroma is a little chocolaty. This quite fruity and the malts show with a certain smokiness detected at times, an enjoyable porter. A7 A4 F6 P4 OV13 3.4
