Bottle (Gerne Garching gedankt!!!): Hazy, golden, big - and slowly collapsing - beaten-egg-white-like head, complex nose of fruity (orange-peel ?), honeyish malty-grainy and presumably clovey-yeasty aromas; solid sweet and mildly bitter flavour, full bodied, pretty soft; lingering fruity, malty, clovey and bitter finish. A very good brew, even though brewed in Tyrol...

Bottle from Jonas, thanks! Drunk in front of a fire, as befitting such a beer. Huge lacy head just like a Belgian Tripel should have, on hazy amber beer. Winter spices and a touch of bubblegum on the nose. The flavor is very complex: herbs/clove, orange/lemon, rye-like dryness, smooth bitterness at the end (more than usual for a Tripel I'd say). It's well balanced and not a syrupy sugar bomb like many tripels. Hardly ever had a Belgian style beer this good that was made outside Belgium!

Bottle Bierkiste. Cloudy golden, big eggshell foamy head. Dry lemon, light perfume, good bretty notes, seems about right. Medium to full dry body, mellow body, a hint mineral/chalk, fine sparklies, satisfying chewiness. Peach stone and skin, lovely fruit, without any bad booze, spice, good orange marmelade. complex and drinkable, really good!

Bottle. Unclear golden color with fluffy white head. Aroma is all the esters, peppery yeast, cloves, just like you'd expect, but in the perfect amount and flavour combination. Taste is peach, cloves, honey, warming finish, a tiny touch too much booze to be perfect. Soft velvety mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Dryish but with the right body to feel bold, not overattenuated. One of the best Tripels I've ever had, this is up there with the best of the best.

On tap at Bierol Brewery and Taproom, Sunday 20th September 2020 after a long drive from Padova, Italy. Pours hazy gold with a white head. This reminds me so much of a Belgian Tripel that I have had at Get Waterhuis, Gent, Belgium. It's dry, spicy, very easy drinking for the abv. Nice spicy fruitiness, great beer to bring closure to our holiday (almost). A fantastic Tripel.
