Bottle. Cloudy brown color with beige head. Aroma is brownie dough, really nice cakey, simple but good. Taste is brownie, chocolate cake, quite dry in the back. Chewy mouthfeel, low carbonation. Lovely!

Bottle, Bierkiste. Cloudy red-brown, lowish brown head. Roast, raisin, light chocolate nose, christmas cake. Medium, mellow chewy body, dry on the tongue. Chocolate cake, raisin, cherry, currants. very neat.

On tap at Bierol Brewery and Taproom, Sunday 20th September 2020 after a long drive from Padova, Italy. Pours murky, puddle brown with a large cappuccino coloured head. Nutty in the mouth, a little caramel but really quite smooth, a hint of coffee grindings, this is a lovely beer, nailed the style nicely.
