Taste sees a wondrously harmonious port influence with a welcome maltloaf / cake feel. Excellent depth whilst retaining a medium body and good drinkability. They are the kings at this kind of stuff aren't they?

Bottle, 330 ml shared with Max, Miro B and Bazz. Dark brown with off white head. Caramel, dry fruit, dark fruit, marmalade, plums, port, sweet, bit tart. Soft texture. Medium bodied. Loved the fruity profile, really gained with barrel.

19th 2020 Almost clear amber beer, tidy pale tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, a nice light caramel and cream vibe. This is how to do it Emelisse and Dutch Bargain. Smooth barrelling, a trace of vanilla. Nice berry fruits, juicy and a little jammy. Much more red berry fruits than black berry. Smooth creamy finish. So crushable. In an ideal world, even more Port Barrel would be good. But this is still bloody good and fruity and drinkable. Mild spicy linger. Super duper.

Taste has rich fruity malt flavors, raisin, oak, figs, dates, caramel, fruity vanilla, sweet cherry, vineus red grape, fruity yeast and a long malty finish with lots of ripe fruit flavors. Delicious beer, love how all these fruit flavors come out.
