Romige jongen, chocolade, moutig, koffie, ok Bourbon, het is zeker niet een ‘oude’ de molen, maar het is iig beter dat wat ze de laatste jaren produceren.

33 cl bottle @ Hapanta! tasting. Botled 07.04.2020, BBE 07.04.2030. Aroma has rubbery notes and some salty licorice. Also toasted sugar. Flavour has rubbery notes, some herbal tones, saltiness and mild toasted sugar. Just too turboboosted; feels like a Mikkeller Black. Rated on 2021-04-01.

33cl Fles van Landal Coldenhove Eerbeek. Zwart, beige kraag. Aroma is fors boozy, soyasaus, whisky, vanille, gebrande mout, caramel. Smaken van hout, whisky, soyasaus, chocolade, booze, scherp maar toch ook zacht, moutig, ook wat donker fruit. Medium body. Mooi nip-bier maar niet de knaller waarop ik had gehoopt.

Bottle shared by Johnny. Thnx! Opaque pitch black color, dark brown colored head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, roasty and bourbon. Flavor is malts, roasty a bit, bourbon, dark malt bitter but also a light sweetish note. Very pleasant.

330ml bottle Sophie's Beer Store. Pitch black pour with a respectable tan topping. Aroma brings wafts of caramel, chocolate, roast, wood barrel, leather, whisky. Taste sees the spirit influence rise gracefully above the layered malt base, really bringing a startling drinkability to something that should normally beg for a slow reflective sip. Dark plummy moments add nice fruity shades. Woody linger. Excellent.

Black pour with a tan head. Smoke, oak, dust, ash, more oak, mouldy wood, oaky stuff, etc. Good stuff.
