Appearance: Very dark brown, almost black. Not much head, almost flat. Aroma: Dark malt, coffee, tar, chocolate. Taste: More dark malt, roasted, coffee, slight alcohol. Some bitterness in aftertaste. Very nice. Info: 330ml bottle, 19/10-2013, BB: 31/3-2014

Bottle at Bruce’s, thanks to Leighton. It pours near black with a small tan head. The nose is roasty, milk chocolate, caramel, vanilla and toasted coconut. The taste is bitter-sweet, roasted malt, toast, mild acidity, rich chocolate, dark fruit, plum, date, light medicinal notes and earth with a dry, roasty finish. Fullish body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Rich and tasty imperial stout.

Bottle at Bruce’s - London. I picked this up...somewhere, maybe Belgium. Pours deep,red-brown with a moderate, frothy khaki head. Nose of dark malts, dark chocolate, modest roast, some dark cherries. Medium to big sweet flavor, light char, dark fruits, hints of smoked meat, mild bittersweet cocoa. Light bitter earth to finish, some alcohol warmth, more bittersweet chocolate. Quite nice overall. Pretty well balanced.

Dobry nawet bardzo dobry Imperial Stout w stylu Rosyjskim. Spora ciemno brazowa piana. Pelny aromat czarny kolor i w smaku jak na gatunek przystalo. Bogata struktura slodowa, Slodych z gozkoscia wymieszana rownomiernie. Finisz wytrawny i dlugi. Posmak sliwek suszonych i daktyli a wszystko jakby podlane rumem i porto.
