Can. Clear golden, larger white foamy head, pretty lasting. Corn, vegetable and cardboard nose. Hints of bitterness, sweet syrupy, pretty bland. Watery. No aftertaste. Cold water with something in it. Nothing.

Beer No. 1 of our 20 sample obscure lager tasting with Jeremy. Thanks Graham and Marek for this. Pours pale golden yellow. Quite light, sweet, no off flavours, oily thin body.. No real complaints here, nice enough for what it is.

3rd August 2021. The world lager and UK cider tasting with Mat: Cheers Graham (Grumbo) for the samples. This was the first of many, it was very pale, pretty sweet and weak tasting; not a great start to the session.

26/7/2021. Can received from Marek. Pours bright golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grass, corn, light citrus, straw. Medium sweetness and low bitterness. Light body, watery texture, above average carbonation. Sweet sugar water finish. Aroma was ok.

Another Latin American beer called Pilsen. This one’s from Colombia. I liked it slightly better than Aguila and Club Colombia, but then it was the first one I had here. It was a little crisp and grainy at first at least.

Tap, at a festival in Medellin. Pours yellow gold with a medium white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is grainy, malty, typicaly of the type. Taste follows aroma, minimal hop presence and a slightly unpleasant aftertaste.

This beer is pretty terrible. The worst of my Colombian beer trying as of yet. It tastes like metallic pisswater for lack of a better word.

A golden lager with a thin white head. Lightly malty aroma, non descript. Taste is lightly sweet malt, faint metallic hops and decent bodied. Bought at Carrefour, Bogota, for 1250 COP (60 cents).

A yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma contains notes of corn as well as hints of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of corn and light notes of malt and hops, over a thin body.
