Bottle from Beer Ritz. Dark amber pour with a beige head. Grapefruit, pear, fresh bread and tangerine in the nose. Zesty flavours of orange peel, lemon rind. Bit of fresh herbs and caramel in there too with a nicely balanced hop character. Tangy, fruity-hop finish.

750 c&c from Malt & Vine. Pours clear copper with a creamy/foamy off-white head. Huge pine/citrus aroma. Maybe a bit of floral. Med body. There’s a lush sweet malt backbone with a lot of floral/resin hop smothering it. Lush is the word. Smooth. Mellow. Damn bitter finish. Excellent.

Bottle at Cask Pub and Kitchen, thanks to madmitch76. Pours amber with a decent off-white head. The nose is subtle floral, citrus, hay and wood. The taste is orange peel, grapefruit, pine, a little resin that leads to dry tart finish. The alcohol is well-hidden making it easy to drink. Tastes more like a IPA instead of a DIPA, but enjoyable none the less.

Bottle shared with Mes&Sim, Leighton and Scopey at the CP&K. Cheers! Clear amber beer, little whiet head. Slightly soft and a little dry. Mild carbonated bite. Nice rich hops - grapefruit marmalade, trace of orange. Some fresher orange and a little aniseed in the finish. Very drinkable DIPA without ever being an amazing one.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden copper with a sizable white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, grapefruit, hops and a sweet caramel malt backing. Flavour matches this aroma profile, with piney hops upfront, grapefruit in the middle and a sweet caramel underpinning. Very well-balanced and nicely made.

Location: 750 ml bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 11/4/10

Aroma: The nose is sweet and hoppy, there's some caramel, toast, fresh grapefruit, and orange
Appearance: A cloudy mahogany colored beer with a thick, lasting, off-white head leaving coating lace
Flavor: The taste big sweet up-front, citrus and malts, with a pronounced bitter, hoppy backing
Palate: The body of this one is medium-full, and this one is scarily drinkable considering the ABV
Overall Impression: This is a really good beer, surprisingly good even. At "only" a 94, I would actually say this one is slightly underrated, and considering how easy it is to drink this stuff, at almost 10% it is pretty dangerous. This is the best beer I have had from Uinta by far, and I look forward to drinking this one again.
