Bottle from Spar, Ostend. Hazy golden, small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of apricot, pear, apple peel, pepper, bread crust, herbal mix, hard mango. Taste has sweetish pear, apricot & vague mango, bitter herbs & pepper, bready malty with a touch of honey, slightly wheaty sour perhaps. Floral hoppy finish, yeasty fruit & a faint hint of rum-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Traditional Blonde somewhat enhanced by hops but not quite there where it should be.

Hazy blond colour, white foam. Nose of grapefruit, grassy hops, some cheese. Taste is medium sweet, harsh bitter, unbalanced and a bit cheesy. Not very nice.

22/IV/20 - 33cl bottle from Carrefour (Vichte), shared @ home, BB: 27/XII/20 (2020-364)

Clear blond beer, big aery irregular white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, some tropical fruits, mango, banana, yeasty. MF very lively carbon, medium body. Taste: malty, bit yeasty, soft bitterness, bit soapy, slightly fruity. Aftertaste: more soapy bitterness, bit malty, grains, metallic touch, by no means is this an IPA.

33cl bottle; BBD two years from 27th June 2019, drank at home on 7th Jan 2020. Clear light golden pour until I allowed the sediment to leave the bottle, it then became a little hazy as you'd expect. The head was a thin white affair which soon became a wisp and collar. Nose held yeasty esters alongside some grains and piney hops. The taste mildly fruity with a semi-sweet undertone, pineapple flavours too the fore maybe. Aftertaste is bitter, citrus like and drying. Almost interesting.

33cl bottle from Spar Oostende. F: big, white, average retention. C: gold, light hazy. A: mellow tangerine, sweet malty, peach, orange, bit tropical fruits, bit biscuits. T: medium malty base, orange, tangerine, light caramel, bit tropical fruits, floral, medium dry on the palate, decent bitterness, ok nothing special bit “IPA” in a Belgium way, not bad for me.
