Hi! Second time we’ve made this beer due to stupid, stupid demand. We had to make this beer again, making beer is our job... every single day! It’s been amped up with a double dry hop of Cryo Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe & Chinook. If your palate dies, I’m incredibly sorry.

Keg @ North Westward Ho, Manchester. Very hazy yellow-gold with a small head. Citrus heavy tropical fruit brew, flavoursome and nothing particularly bitter. Some of its carbonation impacts, but at a respectable level. Its strength is represented through its fuller body. Gets piney in its aftertaste.

440ml can Chez Sophie. Pours an opaque murky gold, good white head. Aroma of sweet juicy stonefruit. Smooth, full palate, strong stonefruit exotics, light bitter tickle. Good flavoursome haze.

CO 25/11/2020, BB 25/08/2021; 440ml can;
APPEARANCE: pear and pineapple juice like color, small off white head, fades rather quickly into small ring of tiny bubbles
AROMA: citrus forward on the nose, lemonade, lime, lemon candy, mild citrus zest, tropical fragrance, impressions of lychee, papaya and subtle passion fruit, tropical candy, notes of overripe tropical fruits, moderate sweetness, green vibe, light bready base with notes of wheat bread and oats in the background; feels similar to Here Come Da Nazz just down tuned
TASTE: light and smooth carbonation, slightly creamy feel, medium light to medium body, quite slick and silky mouthfeel for 6.5% abv; juicy and tropical onset, tropical candy with hints of butter, loads of citrus character - lemon candy, lemon zest and impressions of lemon oil, notes of papaya, mango; restrained malt profile; very mild pine and resin on the edges, green/grassy note, hints of earth; light dryness with zesty touches but not bitter at all in comparison with description of the beer, lingering tropical and sugary sweetness cut by gentle resin and citrus freshness
OVERALL: this is full-on regular strength hazy IPA, juicy, tropical, sweet and with solid mouthfeel for abv but where the hell is promised bitterness?? Probably lost in the first release? Well, my palate didn't die. Nonetheless, very good East Coast IPA.

440ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Piney, citrusy and slightly tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, oaty malty background, hints of lemon, pine, spruce, some pineapple, a touch of passion fruit. Taste is dry, slightly bitter, citrusy and piney hoppy, dry oaty malty basis, minimally diluted notes of lemon, pine, spruce, woody pineapple, a minimally chalky touch. Hard, chalky watery texture, dry palate, slightly prickly carbonation. Quite dry, somehow repellent, as if beer and taste buds were homopolar and therefore can't get into real contact.
