Rocky white head left a creamy cover on a hazy vivid gold body. Punchy aroma if Tropical fruits, pineapple & hops. Medium bodied, smooth with a tickle down the throat. Pineapple, cereal, Tropical fruits, mango & stone fruit tastes. Excellent.

Can. Buxton online. Moderate haze on a dark straw colour. Wisp of bright white head. Nose has tinned pineapple. Touch of spicy herb. Some sweet citrus. Clean malts in the background. Taste is semi dry, with a light, herbal bitterness. Light to medium body. Fine carbonation. Dry and light bitter finish. Decent quaffable pale, but it lacks a bit of oomph for me.

7th November 2020
Can. Medium hazy yellowish gold beer, tidy white head but it doesn't last long. Light malts, a very light creamy sweetness. Ahtanhum hops bring light smooth pine. Piney floral tangerine and mandarin with an undertone of kiwi and mellow gooseberry. Trace of lemon. Very mild hop spice on the finish. Juicy fruity finish. Very nice Ahtanhum showcase. A hop that flies under the radar. Wish someone would dipa this hop. Good stuff.

Can picked up from Buxton Brewery Webshop, Buxton, Derbyshire, UK and consumed at home Thursday 5th November Bonfire Night/Guy Fawkes night in the UK but much like here a second lockdown will mean a quiet evening. Listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6Music and making homemade Pizza. Pours hazy lemony colour with a nice clean large white head, soft mouthfeel, good but not with the nose or pithy edge of the Sabro. Hoppy throughout, pleasant but a MOR effort in this series, however I guess that is too be expected. Tingling bitterness at end.
