US Pint can from Left Field Beer. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, big tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a light dank, tangerine, mango, grapefruit, light hop bitter palate. Over medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is candied citrus, fruity hops, orange, pine resin, grapefruit, tangerine, pale malt, touch of tropical fruits. Fairly sweet flavour with a moderate bitterness. Above medium body. Bittersweet and citrussy with plenty of orange, potent, not an easy one but a slow sipper.

Can. A light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, a good fine minerally crisp snap. Light malts, slightly thin feeling but certainly sweet enough. Crisp cooling pine into reasonably juicy citrus, a little tropical fruits, mild and slightly overripe pineapple. A good degree of hop spice runs throughout. A little sweet mango. Light crisp hop spicy finish. Good but never really grabbed me and said 'I'm special!'

Large foamy white head on turbid dull golden coloured body. Minimal aroma of earthy & hop. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a lively back. Nectarine, bubble gum, sweet citrus & peppered tastes. Tasty one

A hazed golden DIPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, dank notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, dank notes, light peated notes, very nice. On tap at Ventiβs.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 19/11/23. Moderately hazed orange golden with a just off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is orange zest, grass, light pine, mandarin, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises bitter orange, raw pineapple, sweet edged malts, grapefruit, pine resin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come resinous hop bitterness. Decent DIPA.

Super hazy pale golden coloured body with a straw, ghostly white glow, all about 90 per cent opaque with a two to three centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat nicely all on top of the ridiculously hazy glow. Aroma of oranges, vanilla, lactose, cream, milk, grass and a dry, slightly resinous note - very strong on the hops with a lot of alpha acids here. Medium to Full-bodied; Chewy, chunky malts (definitely the oats) come through at first here, with a bunch of oranges and vanilla right afterwards with a slight dry and grassy finish and some good bitterness, but the creamy milk/lactose and the rich oaty malts really drive this. Aftertaste is clean, but rich, showing a pretty good balance of sugars, malts and hops and almost no alcohol here at all (around 6 per cent, it seems) with a big vanilla and orange bite. Overall, a very nice oat-based IPA with a bunch of super rich flavours, a good layer of sweetness with oranges, lactose and pungent hops, all bordering on Imperial status, but tasting much less than that, except for the oats/malt. Nice to sample this one very fresh and super local - a nice option from this brewery that I wasn't expecting to be so good! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Wegman's Grocery in Alexandria, Virginia on 20-November-2021 for US$1,99 (part of a mixed six pack), canned on 18-August-2021 with the tagline 'Too Many Oats' and sampled at my house here in Washington on 22-November-2021.
