Can shared at Zozo's. Pours copper with a thin beige head. Nose is booze, caramel, vanilla, kinda messy. Taste is caramel, biscuity malts, a faint floral touch and huge booze, which becomes overwhelming at one point. The dry body further highlight the booy character, which is unfortunate. It's far from bad, but rather messy.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is very oaky with sweet caramel malt, lots of toffee, dried fruits, vanilla, more wood throughout. Flavour is sweet with some bitterness, light alcohol. Above medium body. Sweet with a strong oak profile, toffee, caramel malt.

13th January 2020 Can. Light haze on this deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Soft and fairly luxuriant mouthfeel. Decent fine carbonation. Soft malts, a smooth creamy sweetness. Well integrated vanilla that leads to a rounded fruitiness. Some soft Dubonnet like red fruits in there and something slightly darker and more savoury. Soft and very ripe citrus before a soft finish. Intriguing and quite drinkable.

Can. Smooth malts, caramel with a good dusting of icing sugar. Soft cinnamon and a touch of soft red fruits. Tastes quite seasonal now!

12/12/2020. Can sample courtesy of saxo/fonefan. Pours dark bronze with a small frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, syrupy, malty, woody, toffee, vanilla, butterscotch and a touch of nut. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Full bodied, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Very enjoyable, highlight of the Brazilian beers tonight.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted, caramel, dried fruit, toffee, oak, vanilla - barrel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, toffee, caramel, vanilla, barrel - vanilla, sweet malt, dried fruit, malty. Body is medium to medium full, texture is creamy and dry, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20201205]
