Can at home picked up from Costco. AClear mid golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet breads, flabby leafy hop, sweet and flabby grains. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, jammy pear, fruit lops, esters, bready grains, apple curb. custard. Palate is semi sweet, flabby, spicy hop, moderate carbonation. Meh.

Half-litre can from a Costco Advent Calendar; drank at my daughters place in OC Southern California on 15th December 2021. Poured (twice) into an old Corsendonk stemmed tulip glass. Clear and clean golden body, snow white head. It's a strange hybrid between a cheap Pilsener and a crappy IPA that doesn't have a decent hop bill. Struggled to enjoy this, might have been better on a warm sunny day.

500 ml from the Advent calendar. Aroma is floral, lemon rind, caramel, bready malt. Pours nearly clear golden with a one finger bone-white head with decent retention. Taste has a mild bitterness with some candy sweetness alongside. Nothing wrong with the palate. Better than I was expecting.

Can behind day 15 of the Costco Advent Calendar. It pours clear yellow - cold with a small, dissipating fizzy white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, floral character, pine, biscuit, bready malt, grain and hay. The taste is crisp, dry, subdued bitterness, some pine, mellow fruitiness, mostly orchard fruits, dull lemony citrus, floral, grain and straw with a crisp finish. Lighter end of medium body and fine, prickly/sharp carbonation. It's a bit wishy-washy to be honest. Hides the 6% well, but it's utterly forgettable.

Deep dark amber and copper coloured body with a good two to three centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of light bread, yeast, grainy malts with some crisp caramelised sugars and a dose of toffee with nuts towards the end, but the hops here are very minimal and showing low alpha acids and a German or English variety. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong rich earthy malts dominate here with a lot of caramelised sugars, toffee, earth, grain and a good hint of yeast towards the end. Aftertaste shows a dash of very light hops without much bitterness or alpha acids with only a nutty and earthy bite of malts towards the end with almost more sweetness than hops here. Overall, a decent beer, but nothing like any IPA from this side of the Atlantic, but that was to be expected, and even for a German 'IPA', this wasn't so great, but it was still nice to try as part of the Advent calendar, but just not a great option if you found this in a local store while in Germany and were considering bringing this back across the pond. I sampled this 50 cL can as Day #21 from the Costco Advent Calendar, purchased at my local Costco here in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia in October 2020, sampled on 21-December-2020.

Lots of lime. Some malt but kind of an odd balance here. Golden orange pour with good head. Tangy lime finish. Not great. Can from day 21 from Costco advent.

Day 21 can from the CostCo Advent box. Pours translucent amber with a large foamy beige head. Aroma of toffee and perhaps citrus. Med body. Flavor is toffee, perhaps a good deal of Saaz for spice, and citrus. Not wholly dry, but at least moderately bitter. It's a bit off USA styles, but it's pretty decent.
