Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - light golden with a decent head which then disappears quite quickly. Nose - light lemon and pale malt. Taste - light malt and a faint hint of lemon again. Then it’s gone. Palate - very light bodied with not much in the middle and then it’s over. Refreshing but not in a hoppy way, more in the way that water is. Overall - like making love in a canoe. Phuqing close to water.

Soulless, tasteless yellow stuff. No head. Easily the worst of all supermarket own brand lagers I’ve tasted.

Wässriger Geschmack, der von Beginn bis Ende durchhält. Mild getreidig, etwas muffig. Ein unendlich langweiliges Bier. 11/5/7/5/3/4

[440ml can from Sainsburys, from a four-pack for £1 that my wife bought to make bread] Pungent passion fruit aroma with loads of... oh, hang about, that must be a different beer. This one pours pale gold with a swiftly-diminishing white head. Very thin mouthfeel with aggressive carbonation. There’s a hint of lemon and a hint of wheatabix on the nose, but this is overwhelmed by metals. When drinking it the overwhelming impression is of dusty sparkling water. As others have said it’s not especially horrible, but it is barely beer. It would make for a cheap alternative for sparkling water, I guess, but I can’t see any other reason why anone would buy it. Oddly comforting to have a cack beer once in a while though, makes you appreciate the good ones.

50cl can from sainsburys. Can’t see the head but I guess it has a thin white head. Golden pale pour. Not bad for a cheap 2% lager.
