Tap at Mikkeller at Morebeer. Bit hazy golden with bright white head. Nice dry funk, wheat, gooseberries, lemon, dry cellar notes, some burnt matches. Solid medium sour, light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Quite OK.

750 ml bottle from MBC. Orange, moderate hazy body, with a medium, fluffy, slightly yellow head. Aroma of barnyard, young cheese, wood, some apricot, red apple, slight citrus. Tastes similar, with more citrus. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation. Finishes medium dry, citric, moderate sweet, fruity, with apple, stone fruits, moderate cheese, some barnyard. Very tasty! Has a pretty typical Oud Beersel character, perfectly balanced and very smooth to drink, with the right levels of fruitiness, funk and dryness. I could drink this all day, very fresh stuff. Very good, dense, white head over clear yellow beer with very fine pearling. Horseblanket a mile out, shoepolish, leather. Green grapes, Boon lambic. Lambic with green herbs and green grapes. Very lemony, but grapes make the character. Old stuffy blankets. Acidthinning, lipsmacking acidity, sharp with dry-out effect. Pretty well carbonated. Great beer. Remarkably how the lambic completely dominates the rest.

Light, fruity, sour, a bit tart. Citrus and yeast, some wet wool-polyester sock funk. Lambicy. Not bad.
