Clear orange beer, big creamy dense thick white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice, lots of citrus, some tropical fruits, bit floral. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter start, pretty soapy, bit floral, some citrus notes. Aftertaste: bitter, bit sweet, caramel notes, some grapefruit, ripe tropical fruits, some citrus, bitter finish.

Can. Light haze on this gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth if slightly thin and dry pale malts, a thin creamy sweetness. A savoury skunky vibe that is something I have never associated with Idaho 7. Resinous piney fruits, now that is more like Idaho 7. Except, the citrus and mild tropical fruits are not as vibrant as top notch Idaho 7 beers. It's a diverse old series is this from Buxton, some fab single hop variations and as many more that are clearly below par. This one, good but not really smashing it for me.
