500ml bottle from Moonshine & Fuggles beer shop, Ironbridge. Golden colour, white foam head and aroma of citrus, grassy hop. Flavour is malt, grain, straw, hay and some citrusy bitterness. Light bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite OK.

Cask @ The Salopian, Shrewsbury. It actually does have a kind of golden glow. Smooth caramel flavours, a faint air of citrus, easily quaffable, not a bad drop.

Cask at The Great Western during the RateBeer Black Country Bus Bash. Pours clear gold with a light, creamy white head. Sweet, doughy malt character with accents of sugary citrus and light hay, orange. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with bready malts, light dough and orange citrus. OK.

Black Country Beano. Cask in the Great Western. Clear gold beer, tidy white head. Light palate, semi dry with fine carbonation. Mild marmalade hops. Light sweet malt. Light floral touch. Finishes dry with a marmalade bitter aftertaste. Third beer in the same pub that looks and tastes like a Golden, but says on RB it’s a bitter!
