Bottle from World Beer Market via Rakuten served in my Teku glass. It pours a reddish-orange-brown with a fizzy beige head that lingers. The aroma is what you’d expect from a Belgian Strong Ale: molasses, figs, plums, sweet fruitiness and some boozy heat. Medium bodied with a surprisingly sharp carbonation. The taste is sweet malty fruits but with just too much alcohol burn. It’s 8% but tastes much boozier.

Bottle, 330 ml. courtesy of and shared with JFK10000. Pours murky orange with white head. Sweet, spicy, yeasty and bit too much alcohol.

330ml bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a medium-sized head. Aroma of yeast, caramel and fruit. Medium sweet taste.

750ml bottle pours out a amber topped with a small sand head. Nose is old cardboard caramel sweetness and some spice. Taste is more of the sweetness caramel toffee honey and some spice.

Clear reddish brown colour, white head. Aroma of raisins, brown sugar, malts. Sweet malty flavour, caramel, raisins. Sweet finish, brown sugar, madeira. Feels old, still half a year before the BBF date though.

Shared bottle at HNB 08.02.15. Copper. Persistent beige head. Sweet aroma of wild berries, dried fruits and nuts. Fine and similar vinous taste, with red plums.

Kveldens siste flaske delt med Ovesen på Holmens bryggedag feb-14: rødlig kobberfarge med klassisk belgisk højt skum. Fersken, mango og villbringebær i aroma og smak. Alkoholen varmer bakerst i ganen. God.
