Bottle at The Made Inn Ashford. clear orange red colour no head. rhubarb aroma. that's quite nice. some sweetness but the rhubarb is pleasant. I thought a bit like a rhubarb and custard sweet but as sweet .I liked it. decent.

Bottle at the house of trembling madness. Pours clear reddish golden, nose is rhubarb, toffee, honey, taste is similar, sweet, floral.

[ As Lyme Bay Rhubarb Mead ].
ABV: 11.0%. Clear light to medium red amber colour with a virtually no head. Aroma is vanilla, honey, rhubarb. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, honey, rhubarb, sweet honey - vanilla, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is warming. [20210605]

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. No head. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich rhubarb, fruits, honey and has a nice warming sweet vanilla rhubarb finish.

Bottle @Last Højbjerg Tasting in Højbjerg. Clear amber, no head. Mild vanilla and rhubarb aroma, mild honey. Sweet honey flavour, a little honey spice and light rhubarb.

Panda at home thanks to Colin / SHIG. A clear reddish peachy orange coloured pour with ahalo of loose off white head. Aroma is medium sweet, perfume, sandalwood, berries, hibiscus. little odd. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, perfume, honeysuckle. cola cube, perfume, brown sugars, light spice. Not much rhubarb, but but. Palate is medium sweet, sticky, light fine carbonation. Quite unique.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 07/01/21. Clear reddish to light amber with nothing in the way of a covering. Nose is honeysuckle, floral, sugars, red berry whisper. Taste comprises sweet honey, rhubarb crumble, sweet tones, light herb, berry fruits. Full bodied, oily feel, warming alcohol delivered at the curtain call. Decent mead ... these guys upped their game? Surprised at the 3.1 score!

10/1/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours clear amber red with minimal head. Aroma of sweet rhubarb, candy, vanilla, honey, caramel. Medium plus sweetness with minimal bitter/tart. Moderate body, sticky texture, no carbonation. Quite nice, could have had more from the rhubarb though.

Bottle: Poured a pinkish red with a bubble white head. Aroma is honey, rhubarb, musty cheese. Taste is sweet rhubarb, candy, honey, delicious!
