A 3.8% straw coloured, easy drinking session bitter with floral, citrus flavours courtesy of New Zealand Green Bullet hops. It’s named after ‘Topper’, one of the much loved Suffolk Punch horses that worked on the West Barsham Estate up until the 1980’s.

Cask @ Golden Star not to far across the river Wensum on its north side in Norwich. Slightly deeper glowing golden with a thin head. Easy session, somewhat floral in design, most obviously in its aroma. Citrus provides a kick but still a regular bitterness in taste.

500m bottle. Gluten Free. Clear golden amber colour, white foam head and aroma of light citrus. Taste is sweetish, malt, caramel, bready, with orange citrus and tangy metallic bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Cask at the Ticket Office Cambridge, 19/07/22. Clear golden to light amber Decent egg shell white head. Nose is biscuit, stewed fruits, grains , brown bread. Taste comprises fruit loaf, nutty, biscuit, caramel, stewed fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent cask bitter.

Cask at the Old Ticket Office, Cambridge on 21st March 2022. Slightly hazy gold with shallow off-white foam affording full lacing. Fresh yeasts and hops in aroma. Fruity in-mouth with soft fruits and berries. Some bitterness in an otherwise fruity finish. Velvet smooth mouthfeel and a fair amount of body.
