Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, some short-lived white bubbles on top and aroma of sweet, cough medicine, candy. Taste is sweet, medicinal, tangy, honey, marzipan, plasticy, boozy. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carboation, dry boozy finish. Quite OK.

Panda pop thanks to Shig, watching the first T20 vs Pakistan, 28/08/20. Washed out yellow with a fast collapsing crown of white bubbles that dissipate edgewards and vanish. Nose is prickly pear, honeydew melon, waxed paper, light booze. Taste comprises honey dollop, melon, cactus, grass, light alcohol. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Pretty basic fayre but a steady sipper.

21/8/2020. Impressive looking 750ml bottle from Northumbrian Gifts. Pours clear pale gold with no head. Aroma of rubber, flowers, honey, marzipan and medicine. Moderate sweetness and light bitterness with moderate tartness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture with minimal combination. Singed plastic and warming alcohol to finish, with lasting sweet tart combo. My least favourite of the five meads we had today.
