Bottle from HavnensVin&Tobak. Pours opaque black with large light brown head. Aroma is rotated malt, ground coffee, rye bread crust, iron, apples and prunes. Taste is light to medium sweet, light to medium bitter, light acidic and faint salty. Body is water with soft carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, prunes, plums, very ripe cherry and iron.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours hazy very dark brown with stable tan head. Clear aroma of yeast, malt and oats. Bitter, roasty flavour with sweetish notes of oats and touches of coffee, yeast, and malt. Bitter, roasty aftertaste with estery and malty touches. Decent, creamy and tasty.

Nearly black, beige head. Roast and choc aroma. Hard roasted malt flavour, malty sweetness, a little dark chocolate. Roasted finish.

Older notes from a Beer52 package: dark brown, but clear pour, slightly darkish head. Aromas of of coffee, caramel, dark chocolate, rye bread. Sames tastes, nicely balanced with a pleasant finish.

Can from Voldby. Clear very dark red brown with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt, chocolate and light coffee. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 030421

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a creamy and lacing beige head. Soft plerasant roast, vanilla hint. Medium body, harsh ashy roast and a solid bitterness. The smoothness indicated by the aroma and the head doesn't really appear. This has aggressive roast, bitterness and eveen a slight, unclean tartness. Honestly not a good Stout. 040121

Draft. A black beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, oats, and chocolate. The flavor is sour with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and oats, leading to a bitter finish.

[33cl can from Beer52.] An opaque mahogany pour with a tight caramel coloured head; aroma of deeply roasted malts and coffee; silky smooth with coffee and chocolate; and an intense bitterness from the roasted grains leading into a dry finish that reveals the oats. An excellent stout.
