6/6/2020. Sample courtesy of the SHIG, cheers! Pours very dark brown with a lasting creamy off-white to beige head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts, dark chocolate, dark fruits, toffee, black treacle and a little earth/peat. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, slight sticky texture, soft carbonation. Grower.

33cl can from Beer52: BB 18th Mar 2021. Brewed at De Proef, Belgium. Last beer of the day, drank at home on 4th Jun 2020. It's black bodied with a tanned foam topping, looked good in my thistle shaped glass (all dark beers do). Over roasted malts in both the nose and taste, a mini-burnt malty bitterness is the overall feel the beer gave me, not unpleasant, but a bit one dimensional.
