440ml can ordered from the Blue Boar and drunk at home. Golden brown and clear with a large silky off-white head. Oaky and astringent aroma with caramel and stone fruit. Bitter medicinal taste overlaid with sweet toffee and bready malt, leading to slightly more balance in the finish (although the bitterness is still more prominent). Watery body with heavy carbonation. It isn't bad.

440ml can from CentrAle, Newcastle. Orangey brown colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of chocolate & fruity hop. Taste is sweetish, malty, light roasted, chocolate hint, with fruity notes and tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry earthy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
