Well rounded malty flavour, sweetish overtones followed by a subtle bitterness and fruity notes from the infusion of traditional hops from the neighbouring hop fields of Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Bottle. Pours amber with small white head but no retention. Very malty aroma, part caramel part toasted bread. Taste has the same but also a light fruity berry note and honey. The finish is bitter with a grain and honey note. Medium carbonation and light to moderate body but has a certain smoothness to it despite it being a bit light. Not perfect but a very tasty session bitter. I enjoyed this.

Deep amber with a foamy, off-white head. Aroma of fruit malt and caramel, the mouthfeel is a touch earthy, and the taste is sweet malt with some bitterness and it’s a little sulphurous, leaves a dry and bitter aftertaste

Cask ale, half-pint at Postal Order (JDW). Misty amber coloured body, low beige head, dotted spots on the glass. Mid-sweet malty aromas, hints of dough and toffee. Dough fruity flavours together with light malty sweetness. Rounded ending, slightly bittersweet. Okay bitter. (Worcester 09.07.2018).
